At 11 inches and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but her irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers her body and the deep wrinkles on her skin, which she'll sport until she adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside her belly, her pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily. Per BabyCenter.com

MY DOCTOR VISIT:
So today i was diagnosed with Placenta Previa - Basically the placenta attached to the uterine wall to low and it is partly or fully covering my cervix, thus making it impossible to deliver vaginally... now that's not so bad AND the fact that my doc said only about 1% of cases do not fix themselves, basically as i grow the placenta may grow away from the cervix making it possible to deliver naturally HOWEVER depending on the attachment of the placenta i could have another condition called... placenta something or the other - sorry not very helpful eh! (if you click the link below im sure it will go into detail about that condition and the name of it as well) lol but if the implantation of the placenta is too deeply embedded and it doesn't detach during delivery i could bleed out. Basically all those women you hear about dying during child birth and stuff - THIS IS THE REASON WHY!! You will either bleed out or they will have to stop the bleeding by doing a hysterectomy to remove the uterus. I don't know about YOU but emergency hysterectomy just doesn't sound PLEASANT!!
So not a great day at the doctors :o( and poor Mark - it's his birthday today and he basically got told he can't have sex! i told him for his bday that we would still do it as long as he took it easy. but then after that... idk! i dont want to go causing bleeding!! although since finding out i was pregnant i always spot a day or two after sex so this has been the "thing" for some time now but just those words.... vaginal restriction! LOL ughhh until the 3rd trimester ultra sound to determine if the placenta has grown away from the cervix NO SEX & NO VAGINAL EXAMS! OH and to top it all off... they gave me my papers to go and have my glucose test done... between now and the next appointment i am SOO not looking forward to this. Since i had gestational diabetes with Tre - i just KNOW im going to have it again this time! :o( UGH this sucks... im done being pregnant!!! but with the possiblity of a hysterectomy in my future... i MIGHT really and truely be DONE!
Has anyone ever dealt with this or known anyone to go through it?
