16 years together
7 years married
3 years of them being a "real" family of 3
and only about 12 weeks or so till we meet our daughter.
(OMG i just said our daughter!!! AAHHHHhhhh)
July 12th has always been our date! We got together on that date, we got engaged on that date and we even got married on that date... i think good things happen on this day!!
I would love to be where we were 7 years ago today. Right now i would have been getting my hair and make up done in Islamorada, Florida Keys - ahhh that was so awesome. not just because it was MY wedding be seriously it was the best wedding i have ever been to. LOL everyone who went down with us says that was the best wedding or vacation or whatever it was to them... so i am proud of that! seriously WHO COULD BE STRESSED OUT IN THE KEYS?!?!?
I would love to be where we were 5 years ago when we went on a 2 week vacation to cocoa beach, Florida and Orlando, Florida and 4 day cruise to the bahamas! that was amazing - just AMAZING!!
I would love to have been where we were even 9 years ago today - Right now we would have probably just arrived and in a few hours we'd been walking the streets of "boys town" in San Diego, California... where Mark was getting more looks from the boys than i was!!! and where he also had a secret agenda to ask me to marry him on the beach, so us not being able to get to the beach was really disappointing for him so at around sunset we had walked all the way down to the San Diego Zoo and was getting ready to turn around and come back and before we did i took a break on a bus stop bench, where he proceeded to get on one knee and ask me to be his wife and make him happy for the rest of his life. We cried and yeah... were engaged!! Awesomeness.
Just about all of our anniversaries have had some kind of Vacation or awesome event planned around it... but this year - we are on a budget that is so tight - it makes getting a hambuger from McDonalds a CHALLENGE!! lol but it's all worth it because the life we have made for ourselves and all the years we have been together this year is going to be right up there with the bests!! Our little girl is going to be born in a couple of months and i can't wait to see our family of four! i have this mental image of what we look like but seeing it for yourself is so different. I CANT WAIT!

Awe what a good post. =) I can't wait to see what a female mark looks like either.. lol
