Get Your Christmas Out of My Thanksgiving!

here it is the week before thanksgiving and of course the stores are flooded with Christmas stuff - even the radio is ALREADY playing Christmas music. I like Christmas just as much as the next man but REALLY!? can we celebrate one holiday at a time? I pretty much say this every year. i can't believe they already have Christmas stuff out.... i believe one year it was right after Halloween... like thanksgiving wasn't even a real holiday or something!!
Stop for a moment in all your gift buying, giving, drooling... and give thanks!
Be thankful and acknowledge all the things that you take for granted every day. like breathing. be thankful for your family, the annoying husband, the whining child, the jerk boss, it's these things that we take for granted on a daily basis.

Close your eyes... well read this THEN close your eyes and do it.
think about the one thing that matters most to you in this world. whether it's a person, a thing, a pet, a photo, a trinket WHATEVER it is, it is the one thing in this world you feel like you wouldn't be the same if you didn't have. you love it, you cherish it, you want to have it forever! now... remember that NOTHING is forever.

we say all the time... if i didn't have "this" I'd die. Well... NO, No you wont die... you would be heart broken but ultimately, life goes on, the world does not stop because you don't have this thing in your life anymore. you will move on and you will get by... nothing is forever, nothing stays forever, nothing lives forever and a moment never happens forever!

My point in all this is be thankful for your life at this very moment, don't live in the past, don't yearn for the future... NOW... this time right now is the only thing we have FOR SURE!

I am thankful:
that my mom has made a nice recovery and she is still around for a little while longer.
that my dad is seeking the help he needs to stick around for a little longer.
for my son - who showed me what true love really felt like and made me a mother
for my daughter - who showed me that my heart is a expandable
for my husband - who has been my best friend and significant other for over half my lifetime.
for the house we have made a home
for my in laws who treat me like one of their own. they are ALWAYS there for us when we need a little help - lord knows where we would be without them.
for my boss who gave me a job and treats me pretty damn well
for my daycare who treat my children like family instead of just daycare kids
for my sister who stayed with my mom at the hospital like she was her biological mother
for my brother who is in high school now and i pray for his decision making skills daily!
for my older sister (my dads side) because she has become a great mentor and friend and really does give me a wonderful example of genuine good person
for my camera, given to me as a bonus from my boss and is helping me bring a pinch more bacon to the table
for the people who have asked me to snap their photos
for the people who come to this office seeking divorce i think these people make me MORE thankful for my "situation" than anything because it is a constant reminder that... things are good for me... i have a "charmed" life and i should not take anything i have for granted.

with the passing of an old friends son and the close call with my mother... i think i have learned real quick to hug a little longer, hold on a little tighter and love a little harder!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Baby Steps

So last night while i was at the hospital with my mother my child decides she is going to walk across the living room.

Explanation of mom being in the hospital.... SCARIEST THING EVER!
Friday no one had talked to her all day - we all thought she was in deep with getting ready for a craft show the next day but what really happened in she was SICK... deathly sick and didnt even know it. She had pneumonia and never even had the first symptom. it turned into a blood infection called Sepsis that goes and attacks all the organs in the body, one by one until it's shut down and dead. My mother was so close to dying Friday evening!! Her blood sugar was 16 and her blood pressure was 63/34 on top of that her oxygen levels were low and she had no clue who we were. She could talk tho and she kept asking why people were yelling at her and anytime they would move her she'd say... WAIT A MINUTE...
on the way to the hospital the EMT gives her a glucose shot and she comes out of it but almost as quick as she came out of it... she went back into it.
So we get her to the ER and they are drawing blood and doing EKG's and xrays and all kinds of stuff, that's when we find out she has pneumonia but we still dont understand what is going on and why she is like this.
Within a few hours they put her on a ventilator and strap her arms down to the bed... i am REALLY freaked out and worried and confused and emotionally drained already from marks grandma just passing away earlier that week.
she was moved to ICU and i stayed the night with her... that was the most awful experience just being there and watching her breath, knowing it wasn't HER breathing... the words LIFE SUPPORT is just a terrible thing to hear especially when a loved one is on it.
So i got about 3 maybe 4 broken hours of sleep in an uncomfortable chair - went home Saturday since they said they were going to keep her sedated and on the vent to rest for the day and see about getting her off the vent Sunday. Sunday being Kaylins first birthday party!
Kays party came and at the same time it was time to get mom of the vent. she fought the nurses when they took it out she was ready to go home and they had to sedate her again to calm her down. after kays party i went up to see her and she was talking... she asked what happen and i told her she had pneumonia, i figured i'd keep the details limited until she was in her right frame of mind. she made a face and i told her to relax as i rubbed her forehead and hair. She said she wanted to go home and i told her she was really sick and had to stay and she made the saddest face! it was pretty much heart breaking leaving her that night but i just couldn't sleep in that chair from hell again and then sit in it all day again. so i went home and got some sleep, woke up, took the kids to school and went back up to sit with her. She was already doing much better, talking and more coherent than before but her motor skills weren't back to normal. i stayed all day Monday and took care of her. Tuesday she was even more back to normal and by Wednesday, even after having the cath/heart test thing done to see how much damage was done to her heart she was EVEN MORE BACK TO NORMAL.
She is going home today, leaving the hospital with merely some fluid on the lung and a cough... but just a few days ago was so close to death she was gray and almost unresponsive. Just goes to show how much things can change from one moment to the next and how much we take for granted the people we love, that they will always be around or because they are still young that they will be around for longer than we think.
My mother is my best friend and the thought of loosing her was so emotional for me that i could never even fathom the thought... well Friday evening FORCED me to stop and think about it, that was too close for comfort. Sunday night i finally felt like i could cry and think about the "what ifs". Any emergency situation that i am in i am FINE emotionally until it's "over" and i start thinking about WHAT IF this happened or that happened... then i become emotionally overwhelmed and loose it. I felt like i could do that Sunday when i told mom it was good to see her awake and she told me to shut up... that's my mom!!!

Kaylins birthday party went great... she did awesome even if she did have an early nap!
when it was time for cupcake, we couldn't even sing happy birthday for the quickness she laid upon that thing. lol she grabbed it from the bottom and squished all the cupcake out and then proceeded to eat the paper! HAHA we took the paper from her and she started eating the cupcake... and she at it ALL - every single bit of it without hardly any mess on her!

I did the door measure thing like i do every 6 months for Tre and found that tre was one whole inch taller than kaylin is right now.

Busy Bee

So with this new adventure in photography i have been super busy and with less free time on my hands i find it hard to update my bloggy blog.

couple of weeks again Kay started saying "uhh ohh" which sounds more like uhhh ooo it's so stinkin cute yet i know what is in store - a bunch of throwing things down and saying uhh ooo so i can retrieve and give back... i hate that game, i mean seriously am i a dog or something. lol im sure she will get a kick out of it and i know she has been playing this game with her daycare fav Ms Connie. She has been eating for the past month or so big people food for breakfast and lunch - AND eating like a big person too! lol she is an eater, just like Tre use to be, she will eat the house down. At some point tre turned picky but more than that the reason he doesnt eat well is because he doesn't sit down and take the TIME to eat. just like peeing his pants, if he is playing he doesn't want to take the time to stop and go pee so he will hold it until he can't hold it anymore, sometimes he makes it to the potty on time to erupt like a volcano and sometimes he has wet pants. UGHHH it's so annoying because i KNOW he knows when he needs to go. he holds it!! i KNOW this, HE knows this and HE KNOWS I KNOW THIS!! lol

my goal for this year is to get my kid out of my bed. and to get him to stop relying on diapers/pull ups at night and go to the damn bathroom!!!

he was arguing with me this morning about what clothes he doesn't want to wear etc. and i told him cooperate with me and i will cooperate with you it's a compromise. he walked away and yelled from the other bedroom... YOU CAH-LOP-AH-LATE WITH ME!!! im not your friend anymore! LOL i of course told him - i wasn't put here to be your friend i was put here to be your mom and keep talking to me like that and imma bust you up! LOL i love our little morning spats. if it's not trying to get him up, it's something about the clothes i have picked out. i mean COME ON it's preschool not a fashion show- the real problem is it's getting colder out and i want him to wear long sleeves, he feels like the sleeves should be well above his wrist, while i of course feel opposite in that regard. shaking my head!! these kids will be the death of me!

especially since kay has learned the steps. a couple of months ago she realized how fun the steps were but fell off the first step and bumped her head so it took her a little longer to actually try again. well... she is on a ROLL now. loves em. can't get down them. but loves them. she gets to the stop and sits there like - YAY look what i did. then cries to get down or GOD FORBID tries to go forward down them. mini heart attack!!!!

Kays bday is coming up in about 3 weeks, i can't believe she is already getting ready to be a flippin year old!! this year has freakin FLOWN by, im like in disbelief - denial!! like if i dont plan for the party it wont come. hahaha now im rushing around trying to get things done for it. ISUCK! it's a cupcake theme - was going to do princess but im sure i will have my fair share of those to come. Cupcake is fitting cause the girl likes to EAT, and she is my little Kaylin (Kay)kes
your my cuppycake gum drop schookums whookums your, the apple of my eye! :o)
anyway i gotta go there is work to be done.
sorry for my spacey rambling and bad grammar but that's how i roll yo!

Updates Galore

So wow its been so long since i have done an update... jeez.. where to begin?
UPDATE on Kaylin:
currently 7.5 months old She is saying ma ma and da da and ba ba, she squeals with delight at her brother she lights up when he gets near her.. just about anyone will make her grin from ear to ear when she is playing by herself and someone walks near she lights up and if they keep walkin or ignore her she just starts crying so pitiful lol she is so SPOILED with attention - just ROTTEN! if she is trying to get your attention she does this really cute little wiggle... and then she will cock her head to the side, she is crazy!
last night mark and i were outside and as usual mark was swinging his golf club and every time he would hit the grass pretty good and make that noise she would laugh... it was so stinkin CUTE! took video of it!
yesterday as i was getting her ready for school i noticed she had a tick on her back so i freaked out and called mark and then called his mom to see what im suppose to do because i have only ever had to pull a tick out once before and that was from behind tre's ear - when he was like 2ish I WAS FREAKIN THEN TOO! so i go to pull it out and of course the head stays in... i can't remember if she started breaking out in this rash before or after i took the tick out but it started on her upper back and lower back like a heat rash by the time i got her to school it was on the front of her and more of her back and by the time nana picked her up from daycare to take her to the dr to get the head of the tick out it was from HEAD TO TOE! when i picked her up later that evening when i got off work she was dang near fine! didn't even look like there was a problem. KK said they had to numb her back and cut the head out :o( but they got it out and she is all better the rash is just about completely gone and they said it was just a coincidence that the rash happened at the same time and was just virual but started clearing up after the head was takin out. geeshh... idk!
i can't remember the last update developmentally where kaylin was but she is sitting up perfectly on her own now she has such great posture, straight back! on her belly she raises up really high with her arms but she doesn't really get on to her knees she pretty much doesn't like being on her belly but if there is something she wants TRUST me she will find a way to get to it. she pivots and scoots around on her belly when she needs to get to something... which is EVERYTHING in her near grasp! lol she is so curious about EVERYTHING... lil turd! she is definitely going to have my hands full when she starts getting around on her own. im glad she is waiting for that! lol also she has ZERO teeth right now but i have been giving her baby mum mum lil rice snacks that taste like banana and for the first time, last night, she had those little Gerber puff things also banana flavored. it was pretty funny watching her try to grab them since she doesn't have her pincer grasp yet she would smack her hand down on the tray real hard then scoot it over until the puff was near her fingers then make a fist and hope it was in her hand! but she never brought to her mouth, the ONE THING that she is suppose to bring to her mouth actually went over the side of her little booster / highchair seat. LOL GO FIGURE! :o)

UPDATE on Tre:
Soccer season is over finally - Rain was terrible this spring so we had plenty of rescheduled /make up games he did pretty good this year and we found that he did BETTER when it was just me and him rather than everyone and their momma going. i understand that the grandparents want to cheer him on but he seriously did SO MUCH BETTER when it was just me and him... not even dad there. he got 2 goals this year and actually got dirty playing! he did great and got a trophy and the y medal - on the last game, i asked him how many goals he was going to get and he said 4 lol was pretty cute he was up and ready to KICK THAT BALL!! that was about the most i have seen him be determined to get the ball in the goal... GO TRE!!! he was on fire that game... of course it was the last one, we did have a make up game but it was too cold to play so i ddint take him...shame on me, i know but i have a baby to think about too and mark wasn't going to be there.
Tre had his first sleep over, Kaden spent the night the day of his birthday party which for the first time was SMALL and cozy. lol not alot of people there which was nice for a change. Kaden and Tre were awesome tho, i was nervous about kaden staying the night because i know how little 4 year old boys can be but Kaden, as rambunctious as he CAN be... was great. he listened when he was told to do something or told not to do something... i only heard "im not gonna be your friend anymore" maybe 3 times. they were super excited to watch ben10 and got CRAZY when it came on... but they were like A.D.D. because it was something new every 5 minutes... a new toy, a new game, a new movie.... then it was on to something else. Kaden was so sweet he gave me a few random hugs and i took that to mean he was having fun and was comfortable in my home, which made me happy because i could tell they were happy and having fun! then NIGHT TIME CAME.... i was worried that Kaden would want to go home or have issues sleeping or something but NOPE they both tuckered out watching ben10 on our fold out couch bed. sometime during the middle of the night Tre (in normal fashion) came up to our bed because that's where he thinks he belongs. we have tried so many times to get him out of our bed but nothing is working... idk what to do about it. SUGGESTIONS, TIPS, IDEAS etc would be great! thanks. bad thing is we have both babies in the same room so if tre is crying that he doesn't want to sleep in his bed while we are trying to MAKE him, he will wake up his sister. grrr!
on tre's 4 year check up doctor visit he weighed 34.5 pounds and his weight and height was right in the 50% area... he is getting to be a big boy so tall and starting to use all these... words. lol its too cute when you are talking to him and he says "WHAT?" like an "i don't believe it, you gotta be kidding me" what... AND he says you gotta be kidding me too which is funny because he totally uses these phases in context. the other day i guess he had gas or something because he told me he has beetles in his belly lol mark tried to explain to him what he was feeling and he smiled real big like he was trying to process it and said "no way" lol
Tre is well on his way to reading if you ask him what sound does *random letter* make, he will tell you and then tell you some words that start with that letter... "BUH BUH BUTTERFLY starts wis B mommy" yep son... your right... so smart!

UPDATE on the Husband:
everyone at his work had to do some kind of check up so the company would match their health savings account - they dr told him his good cholesterol is too low and needs to be taking pills now or eating healthy and exercising... early heart disease possibility if he doesn't CHANGE something!! sighh... not good!! so we got to work on getting us healthy again... jeezzz we are getting OLD!
to attempt in not having anymore children... EVER!! Mark got fixed. :o) yep... my man is now sterile. or at least we HOPE he is... i know a few years from now im gonna have baby fever again and want to have another one but our bank account is going to be like... NOOOO please dont do it! i guess if we ever win the lottery we can try to do a reversal and if that doesn't work we can adopt. :o) and NOT FROM AFRICA but right here... in the states (& maybe from Asia, i love little Asian babies). alright im not going to get all political but you know what i mean right... all these damn famous people with more money than they know what to do with go to Africa and see all these poor hungry pitiful looking kids and they want to take em home with them... that's great but YO... we got starving homeless and parentless kids in the states too right!?!? i digress!!

UPDATE on me:
i have recently started doing photography... yeah yeah i know, nothing NEW right... well i have recently started taking MONEY for my photography - not that i am charging a whole lot... i mean i probably wont even hit that -600 dollar maximum amount to get TAXED! haha but if you need photos... holla at ya girl!
FACEBOOK.COM/ALARMSPHOTOGRAPHY is where my work is at... i also have a website, but it's... meh.... ok.
wix.com/marknmanda143/alarms
CHECK EM OUT - LIKE MY FACEBOOK PAGE, LEAVE LOVE!!
mark is talking about me doing commercial photography for golf courses now too... i dont know much about it but im sure with marks help i can get some awesome stuff! :o)
i am super stoked (stoked? i don't think i have ever used that word about my excitement in my life) about this endeavour... right now it's a side business, just something to make a little extra to help out with... LIFE and it's expenses... considering "marks updates" maybe i should use it to go to the GYM! lol i have been complaining about not having a gym membership since i had Kaylin but it got me no where and i was going to do it when we got our taxes but we paid off some bills and never got around to getting a membership because i was trying to be frugal and not spend all our money in 2 months! LOL but whatever... the choices we make are what got us where we are today so i dont think we are doing tooo awful terrible... :o) if only we had a little extra is what we have been saying since FOREVER... and every time we get a little extra - it gets cycled into the regular BILLS/LIFE like it didn't even happen. but anyway back to my original thought... since kaylin being born i have gained about 2o-25 pounds... YEP that's craziness.. i am suppose to gain weight when im pregnant not AFTER but no that's how i work because i can't friggin be pregnant without having diabetes SOOOO.... i can't eat the GOOD TASTIN BAD FOR YOU food when im pregnant. BLAH so IM FAT!

our family is getting ready to go on a FLORIDA trip!! my kaylins first time time Florida and to see the ocean! yay.. excited! gonna be fun... even though mark and i are fat. haha

Craptastical Shitty Day

i don't know what it was about yesterday but it was a SUPER SERIOUS BAD DAY! grrrr!
Tre and his non listening skills started it off all wrong, i kept asking him to get ready, take your diaper off, put your underwear on, put your shorts on, put your shirt on, all of these things i know i said each one at least 20 times... finally i had HAD IT! i put all of his stuff on him while yelling at him that he can do this on his own and i don't understand why he needs to be told 100 times to do something before he does it, i told him over and over about how when he doesn't listen to me it makes me upset and now i have lost ALL PATIENCE (and acting like an ass). he started crying, i don't know if it was because i was yelling at him or if he was just tired or if because i said mommy isn't happy or what but then i really felt like a jerk! so not only was i upset at my child i was mad that i made him feel bad enough to cry so now I'm mad at ME! and of course all my child's procrastination lead to us being late walking out the door - about 6 mins late. you wouldn't think it'd make that much of a difference but it DID!
pulled out of my neighborhood behind a pick up truck hauling a front loader on a trailer and i swear this person was going 30 - 35 miles per hour in a 55 zone and it was like that for about HALF of my trip in to school/work. The of course i get to do my 60 mph in a 55 for all of about 30 seconds before i come up on a damn school bus that is stopped with flashers in front of a house... turns them off drives up TWO DRIVEWAYS and stops AGAIN!!
ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME!??! your telling me that kids use to walk miles to school and this kid can't walk two friggin houses OVER to get on the bus so that it doesn't have to make 2 stops within a friggin 10 foot area!?!?!? WTF! loli was so super pissed! every slow driver in bullitt county was in front of ME yesterday on the way in, and I'm not talking about the buses, i understand they are traveling with children and make stops etc but i did find the double stop thing pretty damn STUPID!
so FINALLY i make it to tre's school and we had both calmed down from our morning argument and he was all loving on me, i guess "physically" saying he was sorry.
I usually stay with him a while while he eats his food and try to tell him to be good, listen to his teachers and play nice with his friends. but all i had time for was DON'T GET ON RED... remember mommy said if you get a red buzz lightyears go bye bye for a whole day. love you, have a good day. I'm out. (Tre got his first "RED" light at school, last Wednesday, on my birthday of course so I'm trying to nip it, before it because the norm.)
GET TO WORK about 20 mins late and of course my boss has to give me crap for being late (like I'm every THAT late) and i was telling him my ordeal this mroning and was like "I'm ready to claw someones eyes out" he said "well you can try me but don't be surprised if i claw back a little bit" i know he was trying to cheer me up but i hadn't even gotten my purse off my shoulder before he started in on me and i had no time to breath... and try to release tension.
Co-worker tried being positive for me, reminding me that it's a short week and a long weekend, etc. so that was starting to work till i had to go get lunch yesterday and the EFFERS FORGOT MY FOOD!
everyone elses food was in the bag... my food? NO... not there. so i had to go ALLL THE WAY BACK UP THERE to get my food. talk about frustrated cause not only am i pissed but I'm hungry! and anyone who knows me, knows that is NEVER a good combo! if i could have peeled out in that damn parking lot in my kia, i would have! LOL i don't think the kia has ever gotten a "wheel" tho! LOL
so the rest of the day goes by, mostly without any other mishaps till i pick my child up from school and I'm preparing myself to hear bad news about his behavior but instead i get a friggin RATE HIKE!!! they are raising my damn rate to 130, ten whole dollars MORE than what it is now.
by the time i got home i was just ready to give up, i needed to go to bed and start all over because the whole day had been SHIT i mean just pure CRAPTASTICAL SHIT!

Sharing With You:

a blog that i love to read:
i look forward to her posts like a kid looks forward to hearing the ice cream man in the neighborhood and anxiously awaits on the side of the road to get one of those awesome frozen treats, perfect for cooling a hot kid that's been playing outside all day...
i don't know how many kids there are these days that actually DO THAT but that's what we did back in the day...
i digress...
a blog i want to share with you is so full of positive energy and happiness.
it makes me feel good and inspires me to be a better mother to my child(ren)
What brought me to her sight was her birth story of her beautiful daughter Nella who was born with Downs Syndrome.
the birth story she wrote about Nella's grand entrance into this world had me absolutely in tears and i felt so hard for this stranger who lives hundreds of miles away that somehow through the wonderful thing call the Internet i feel very close to her like i have known her for years.
You should definitely check her blog out... if not become a follower at least read the birth story, she has a link at the top of the blog.
on her current post she has listed her 3 current loves and wanted to know her readers loves as well; i have shared my three loves with her, they are below.
if you want to leave your 3 current sweet loves go ahead and do so...
on her site and mine! ;o)
Sweet love #1: My baby boy who surprises me daily with how big he is getting and how smart he is getting and what an AWESOME little person he is becoming!
Sweet love #2: The baby girl in my belly, the one who jabs and kicks me everyday just about all day and reminds me that she is there and growing big. i can't wait to meet our little angel and learn about her in every way.
Sweet love #3: my husband who helped me create these lovely sweet loves 1 and 2... and who takes care of me and is an awesome father and husband and friend.

Gestational Diabetes - 26 week check up

Monday i went back to the doctor to take my 3 hour glucose test, drank my glucola and almost immediately felt sick... sick to my stomach and a little light headed, and i have noticed if eat sugary things without anything else i feel the same way... i did that with Tre too but i didn't know that's what it was until NOW! My sister, the great sister that she is came and sat with me for the 4 hours we had to sit there... and we talked and played who wants to be a millionaire and looked at gossip magazines and talked about her going to college and her boyfriend and my work and pretty much everything! lol it was fun hanging out with her even tho i felt GROSS but it made the time go by much faster.
ANYWAYS i got the results back today at my 26 week check up and of course i failed the glucose screen so i have to go visit the damn endocrinologist - i am so not looking forward to this and everyone keeps saying it's only a couple of months blah blah blah but who knows if this time the diabetes will actually GO AWAY. i don't usually have pity parties... but i am having one right now... i can't help but think how unfair this all is that i am predisposed to have diabetes and i am the healthiest person i know... aside from my friend les who eats right and exercises and doesn't put chemicals in her body... yet I AM THE ONE who has to deal with this shit. UGHH
i have an appointment Friday at 315...

On a more positive note:
Here is what is going on with the ever developing Kaylin - per BabyCenter.com
"The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better
developed
and more sensitive than before. He may
now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each
other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is
essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements
are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And
he's continuing to put on
baby fat. He now weighs about a pound
and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (
an English hothouse cucumber) from
head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend
into his scrotum — a trip that will take two to three days."

My doctor says other than the gestational diabetes the pregnancy looks great, my weight gain, blood pressure etc. all PERFECT and where they should be. They are going to do another ultra sound at 32 weeks to see what the placenta previa looks like but he isn't really worried about it because it wasn't fully covering the cervix during my 20 week ultra sound. so there ya have it...

im depressed. :o(

2 tears and a hand full of COOKIES!

We are pouting this week...

Tuesday of this week i went (like a good girl) to get my glucose tested since i am about that time in the pregnancy to do so. i had gestational diabetes with my first born and it SUCKED!! i had to give myself insulin shots 3 times a day, and STARVE for eating healthy foods and not only that but you have to prick your fingers like before and after every friggin time you eat!!

So needless to say i am very unhappy when my doctors office calls and tells me that i need to take the 3 hour test because my glucose screen was 187... normal is 130-140!

When i got home last night after work i was pretty depressed about it, i cried 2 tears over it and ate about 10 fudge stripe cookies to mend my sorrow. UGHHHH eating is my vice people.... take that away from me and i don't know how to act. it's like crack heads being CUT OFF!! I'll start to itch and will do anything to get my goods! LOL naw it's not that bad but i was seriously hoping that since i had it the first time, i wouldn't have it again this time but you better believe i am NEVER, NEVER EVER getting pregnant again... I AM DONE! knowing that this is inevitable and i am going to have it every time... I'M DONE! thanks!

22 Week Update

At 11 inches and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but her irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers her body and the deep wrinkles on her skin, which she'll sport until she adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside her belly, her pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily. Per BabyCenter.com

MY DOCTOR VISIT:

So today i was diagnosed with Placenta Previa - Basically the placenta attached to the uterine wall to low and it is partly or fully covering my cervix, thus making it impossible to deliver vaginally... now that's not so bad AND the fact that my doc said only about 1% of cases do not fix themselves, basically as i grow the placenta may grow away from the cervix making it possible to deliver naturally HOWEVER depending on the attachment of the placenta i could have another condition called... placenta something or the other - sorry not very helpful eh! (if you click the link below im sure it will go into detail about that condition and the name of it as well) lol but if the implantation of the placenta is too deeply embedded and it doesn't detach during delivery i could bleed out. Basically all those women you hear about dying during child birth and stuff - THIS IS THE REASON WHY!! You will either bleed out or they will have to stop the bleeding by doing a hysterectomy to remove the uterus. I don't know about YOU but emergency hysterectomy just doesn't sound PLEASANT!!

So not a great day at the doctors :o( and poor Mark - it's his birthday today and he basically got told he can't have sex! i told him for his bday that we would still do it as long as he took it easy. but then after that... idk! i dont want to go causing bleeding!! although since finding out i was pregnant i always spot a day or two after sex so this has been the "thing" for some time now but just those words.... vaginal restriction! LOL ughhh until the 3rd trimester ultra sound to determine if the placenta has grown away from the cervix NO SEX & NO VAGINAL EXAMS! OH and to top it all off... they gave me my papers to go and have my glucose test done... between now and the next appointment i am SOO not looking forward to this. Since i had gestational diabetes with Tre - i just KNOW im going to have it again this time! :o( UGH this sucks... im done being pregnant!!! but with the possiblity of a hysterectomy in my future... i MIGHT really and truely be DONE!

Has anyone ever dealt with this or known anyone to go through it?

I'm sooo... BLAH!!

Meet Victoria Reagan Wearne born 06-05-10
I went to see my friends baby the other day, she was only 1 day old and because she came out by C-section she was perfect already! No birthing war marks or a cone head, just outta the womb perfect! She was so adorable and honestly it made me want to hold my baby that much more. I haven't been all that excited this time around with this pregnancy it's been more of a "hassle" to be pregnant. Sounds awful but it defiantly is not the same as when i was pregnant with Tre and i seriously kept saying "it HAS to be a girl because of all the grief she is giving me" "Only a GIRL would do this to a person" and random comments like that before we knew for sure that it was a girl. The number one thing that is different about this pregnancy is my mood! i am so moody most of the time and i can't even stand myself. LOL i hate being like this but there doesn't seem to be much that can help it or make it go away! Trust me if i could make it go away i would but i am just a big ol' bitch for the most part and again... I HATE IT!

Back in the day when i was a teenager, i was pretty depressed (i had lost my grandma who was more like a mother and my parents treated me like cinderella) and had the same shitty attitude for YEARS!! it was only AFTER i made a conscience decision that i wasn't going to be hateful and bitchy anymore, i didn't want to hate everything and everyone, i no longer wanted to make shitty comments about things, people and life.... that i really came out of it. i wanted to be happy and so i CHOSE happiness over being depressed. since then i am very conscience of my mood and when i tend to swing its usually somewhere around "that time of the month" but this baby girl inside me is making me crazy! lol i keep telling everyone that i have TWO SETS OF OVARIES IN MY BODY OF COURSE I'M GONNA BE BITCHY! lol

So at my last doctors visit i questioned him about it, KNOWING the answer to my question already, i think i just wanted to bring it up to him just to validate myself in knowing that im NOT crazy and it is the baby doing it to me. So we talked about my hormonial crazy ass and i asked him if the fact that i am super moody right now during pregnancy would indicate that i will have post partum... and he said that there will be a higher chance for me to have post partum because obviously the hormons are effecting my mood more this time around.... UGH damn FEMALES!!! why we gotta be friggin CRAZY for!?!?!?!?

Mothers Day Weekend

What a crazy weekend… Friday at daycare they had muffins with mom or grandma so I told Tre’s nana and ninny about it so they could join him in the muffin fun since I would still be at work. Nana wanted to take him after the muffin party and keep him for a while till we got off work so she took him and they played and Mark picked him up and Mark let me go to Bingo with my aunt and my cousin.
While at bingo, getting my stuff gathered and waiting for the first game to start, someone starts singing some old country song that I had NO CLUE what it was but my aunt was just singing her little heart out with it so whatever… we were kinda confused as to why they were singing before the games but figured… maybe it’s like their Bingo anthem or something HAHAH and you think that was would have been FUNNY ENOUGH but come to find out… it was the precession for a freaking WEDDING!!! O.M.G. Someone was getting married at BINGO!!! Lol I couldn’t help but think… oh my gosh how redneck is THAT!!?!?? I am not one to make fun of people but damn it, this needs to be poked at just a LITTLE BIT!! So I texted everyone I knew and facebooked about it, getting some most awesome comments! LOL I guess karma didn’t like my poking fun of the newlyweds cause I didn’t win jack!! :o( owell – how often do you get to see a WEDDING AT BINGO?! So I get home and my boys are already in bed and I chill out for a minute and join them.
Wake up Saturday morning to Tre saying… “Mommy, I have sumpting for you” and learned that Tre had already woke up went downstairs to my husband’s “man hole” and got my mother’s day present from school he had it an flowered bag, a nice card with his hand print, a poem and a cute picture of my little booger in it as well as a hand-made flower that was made from tissue paper and a “paper cone cup” it was very sweet to say the least and a perfect way to wake up! When daddy woke up and found out that he had already given it to me he said “BUDDY, you were suppose to wait till tomorrow morning!” to which Tre replies, “I so sahry (sorry), I no mean to” I LOL’d at that for at least 2 minutes cause it was just so cute how he said it and was super serious about being sorry! LOL
Saturday night we go to Anthony’s house to hang out with him, his boy, and his brother while his wife was out for a bachelorette party. Our boys playing together is so cute, Tre drove Micah around in his jeep for a while, Micah was torn between liking it and crying his face off, I think it was because when tre would take off or stop Micah would have his head jerked accordingly so i think he liked it till that happened... but it started to get dark and we took the boys in and I asked Anthony if them playing in Micah’s room by themselves was ok and he said it WAS… we checked on them every 15 to 20 minutes just to make sure they were getting along and Tre wasn’t trying to “take a baby out” or anything, sharing and all that jazz. They played pretty well together so we kinda laxed on the checking on them unless there were “noises” that would cause an eyebrow to raise or something. Hee hee Signs that we should have been checking on would include… Tre coming out of the bedroom with a paci that no one had ever seen or that Micah doesn’t use and random bottles of lotion being placed here and there. When Micah came out of his room with a lotion bottle that he was chewing on and mark said, what does he have in his mouth all three of us parents jumped up to go see what exactly had been going on. First we see that Tre being older than Micah had gotten into his diaper changing table cabinet where all the “baby stuff” was, Tre had gotten into the Vicks and rubbed it all over him and had it all over his hands, while Micah was just grabbing stuff and throwing it all over the place. Somehow butt rash cream was squirted out and Tre and Micah both smelled like vicks for a while! LOL so we cleaned that mess and turn around to see they had gotten into the little storage box that Christy had in his closet from the baby shower and stuff, they had pulled a few things out of there but nothing majorly disturbed so we cleaned that up, scolded the children and went to the checking on them every 10 to 15 minutes this time! it got late so we went home and went to bed.

Woke up Sunday morning to another present and another hand made card by my hunny and child. So cute i had a rocket, race car, rainbow and a bird. Tre had actually helped with the bird and the race car that was pretty cute! open my gift and there are four shirts from the motherhood store! awesome!! we then had to get ready for fish fry out in taylorsville for his family's mothers day and we were out there for too long - tre had a great time cause he was wore out but didn't get a nap till 530ish so he didn't wake up till 745! so i didn't get to see my mom till late and of course with that late nap we didn't want to go to bed at a decent hour either! MADE FOR A CRAPPY MONDAY! :o( but the weekend was good! :o)

Who is that?

So there was this thing called "way back week" on facebook last week. you were suppose to put old pics of yourself on there from way back in the day. so i put one up of me in middle school that was just one that i had on there from putting all the old embarrasing school pics up! haha my dad put this pic on his profile, it's me from 1981 i guess i would be roughly around the same age as Tre is right now. bout 2-ish. i think it looks alot like tre. so because my baby is really good at recognizing himself in pictures i decided i was going to ask him who it was.

So i put the picture up on the computer and told tre to come here and tell me who this is... he came down and i pointed to it and said "who is this?" he stood there without saying much and i heard him pronouce the "T" sound like he was getting ready to say tre but he was thinking about it like that's not tre... lol so i asked him, is that Tre? he said NO. lol DANG can't fool him huh!? so i guess though it may look alot like him... it's not enough for him to think it does. LOL owell.

Is my child "Sickly"

She keeps calling my child "sickley" like he is just sick ALL THE TIME... then said that she wasn't calling him sickly just saying how she was glad she didnt have to deal with a sick baby... bascially cause you cant really deal with an UN-SICK baby, let alone than one with the sniffles.

TEXT FROM HER:
"Oh ugh yea they need 2 get better so glad "baby S" isnt sickly think i would go crazy if i had 2 deal with a sick baby all the time."

sounds to me like she is referencing TRE to be the SICKLY one and she is glad "baby S" isn't like that.

I texted her back and said...
Tre isn't sickly he just goes to daycare. Be glad that "baby S" doesn't have to go to Daycare.

TEXT FROM HER:
"I wasnt sayin tre is sickly just sayin im glad i dont have 2 deal with a sick baby all the time. Yes im so glad hes not in daycare!!"

Sounds to me STILL that she is referencing tre to be the sickly one... by saying that she is glad she dont have to deal with it, saying it to me in the time that i am talking about tre getting over a virus means (to me) that she is glad she doesn't have deal with what i have to deal with... or maybe i am just being to touchy about this whole thing...

Basically she has said that to me since tre was very small, "i'm glad i dont have to deal with a sickly baby or i HOPE i dont have to deal with a sickly baby"

Cause i know when i have said... "im glad i dont have to deal with a crazy baby" i was meaning that they had the CRAZY BABY and i had a calm baby. lol and tre is calm and i thank god for that laid back child of mine that doesn't mind when he is in a different environment, doesn't mind when momma walks out of the room for a minute and doesn't mind not being held all the time... and by doesn't mind, i mean doesn't CRY! my child LITTERALLY only crys... well NOW when something is wrong but back when he couldn't talk only when he was hungry or tired did my child cry... Tre was and still is the easiest baby i have ever seen. i have been very BLESSED in that aspect... seeing what some of my friends are having to deal with, with their babies is crazy.

ALL THIS BEING SAID: i am pretty sure if tre wasn't the way he is and he was "crazy" or whatever that i would still have no problem dealing with him i mean if we have another child and it is a little crazy baby, of course it'll be harder than tre was but - i'll deal... that's what mommy's do.
im just really tired of the comments that are being made about my child by this person. it has being going on for a while and i guess now that she has a baby of her own it just makes it that much worse for me to hear because i was thinking... wait till she becomes a mom.. she'll stop saying things like that.. because THEN she'll understand how it feels... well that time has come and is present... still no changes tho.

im just REALLY sure that if i was making comments about "baby S" like that... it wouldn't go over well.

Photo Session From Hell

So since my friend D found out that she was pregnant, we have been all kinds of excited to go and get "the boys" pictures taken, her 3.5 month old and my 2.5 year old. Tre turned 2 and a half yesterday on the 25th, so i wanted to get his pics taken regardless if Seth was in them or not. so i told her this and she decided she would come and put him in the pics - i couldn't wait, thought it was going to be too cute!!!
i went to old navy bought him a onsie and tre a shirt that coordinated and set up the appointment with coupon in hand and everything. long story, short, we end up being late - get to walmart have to wait an hour or something like it Baby was GOOD the whole time right up until our name got called to go back. UGHHH waited to long. so we both try to calm him down so we can get at least one pic in... but no go. i know we tried like 4 or 5 times puttin him on the table and he freaked out everytime, this started freakin tre out and he kept saying hold you hold you and i was like no baby we are going to wait a minute to see if seth wants to get his pictures taken, ok? he was ok with that but he was freaked out that the baby was freakin. well d gets pissed because it isn't going well and decides to take him out of the studio to see if that will help she said just go ahead and do tre and walked out. few minutes late she comes back in and starts grabbin shit and cussing walmart and "that's ok we're going to JCPenny this weekend anyway, fucking walmart, stupid..." blah blah blah so she gets more pissed by the minute and im trying to get tre's pics done so we can hurry up and get out of there because she is showing her ass. then i hear her say - "...and my best friend is only concerned with HER child..." i just stopped for a moment and was like... um yea should i just drop my child and come RUSH OVER and help you while you are throwing a fit? DOUBT it.
so eventually she leaves, tre settles down and we finish our photos, they turned out pretty cute too - i decided i should call her to see if she and seth are ok cause he was crying like there was something wrong and i didnt know if maybe he hurt his head or something on the little spot they had set up for him or what so i called and asked if she was ok she said "aw we're fine i just think it's RIDICULOUS that i was standing there looking like an IDIOT with no fucking help" i didnt say anything at that point because i could tell she was still pissed about it so i was like well i just calling to see if yall were ok, my battery is getting ready to die. she said "we're fine." i said ok, bye. that was the end of the situation. but i have pretty much been thinking about it all day and night and even had some messed up dreams in regards to it.
my thoughts on it are this...
* maybe if you wasn't acting like an idiot you wouldn't have FELT like one and therefore i probably would have been more inclined to help you rather than IGNORE YOU.
* when my husband starts acting like that (throwing a fit, cussing and generally making himself look like an ass) i IGNORE IT. so that's what i was doing to her because i think that the way she was acting was not called for. maybe if walmart did something WRONG to us or something it might have been warranted... but otherwise, it was OUR fault we were late, not theirs.
* when my child was small like that i was able to get all of my shit together and still hold my child at the same time, grant it i dont know if she was talking about me not helping her with the baby or the shit she needed to pick up to leave or both but either, or, i would have been able to do ON MY OWN but there again because she was throwing a fit... all her actions were more intense causing her to drop stuff (my problem? no)
* if the tables were turned and it was my child freakin out i wouldn't have EXPECTED help from her to get out of there. i would have tended to my child while gatherin my stuff and left without cussing everyone and their momma for having just been around.
* i am SICK of being everyones "pawn" to dump their shit on. just because your having a rough time doesn't make it MY FAULT. Why can't people be responsible for their actions and stop blaming other people just so they can feel better about the situation.

SOOO... i spent 15 bucks on matching shirts and 27 bucks in walmart pictures only to have a couple of good pics of only my child... no seth and no coordinating outfits and to top it off... my friend is pissed off at me because her child wouldn't cooperate. lovely!
